The melancholic hard rock band PORTRAY creates a non-stop energy trance, built to make heads bang and people dance. Emerging from a squatted basement in Nijmegen, the four-headed dragon of Portray materializes, breathing life and fire into music and performance. Between their distorted soundscapes reside melancholy and hope. Drifting between alternative rock, punk, psychedelic and stoner, they are influenced by bands such as Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Nothing But Thieves and Tigercub.
